Diane Sawyer is one of the most well-known and successful female news anchors, and you’ve probably heard of her before. She began her career in the industry in 1962 and has been employed there for more than 50 years. She was the first female correspondent for 60 Minutes on CNN in 1984.

Working as a writer and segment producer for The Today Show was one of her first significant positions. She is well-known for presenting a number of TV shows, including The View, Today, 20/20, and ABC Evening News.
